We strongly recommend using the proper power supply for any pedal. Daisy chain power supplies may not supply enough power when using multiple pedals or introduce noise into the chain. Consult the pedal manual when available for manufacturer recommended power specifications.

Basidia is a straightforward dirt machine that, like its fungal namesake, covers a lot of ground. Between the gain control and the Decomp toggle, you can access a wide range of gain sounds from raspy, almost-cleans to full-on, filthy fuzz. You can further tailor your sound by using the filter control which, when combined with your guitar's tone knob, allows you to shape the fuzz's tonal character to your taste and rig.

Features:
VOLUME - Adjusts the output level of the effect. Turn it clockwise for more volume or counterclockwise for less.
FILTER - Adjusts the tonal character of the input signal. Turn it clockwise for a thicker tone with more low-end saturation or counterclockwise for more cut and bite.
GAIN - Adjusts the amount the signal is amplified. Turn it clockwise for more saturated fuzz or counterclockwise for more clarity.
DECOMP - Toggles between two voicings. The "left" position is crunchy and dynamic, while the "right" position delivers plenty of nasty fuzz-distortion.

Basidia has non-buffered bypass ("true bypass") switching and, like vintage style fuzzes, performs best when it receives a non-buffered input signal. For this reason, it is recommended to place it near the front of your signal chain. It is intended to be used with a standard barrel plug 9V DC center negative power supply. Using a power supply with higher voltage or opposite polarity may damage the circuit.
